I’ve seen Vuvzela Hero jokes for a while. Yes, the World Cup’s most annoying musical instrument could be merged with Guitar Hero. The results would be slightly more annoying to my neighbours. Let’s finally watch this fakery together and chortle.
This is the world’s largest vuvuzela. While it may look like a fun prop it’s actually – terrifyingly – fully functional. And if you thought a stadium full of these was annoying, just listen to gigantor here can do:
At this World Cup, a fan’s commitment is announced by one sound and one sound only: the encouraging hum of his vuvuzela. Blowing one makes you a good fan; blowing ten simultaneously makes you the best fan. [Total Pro Sports]
Ever wondered what it would be like to check out Giz while sitting at the World Cup? Now you can. You’re welcome.
Forget Rock Band 3, with its fancy keytars and real stringed instruments. In fact, forget everything that just happened at E3. The only video game I care about anymore is Vuvuzela Hero.
