The Gardens of the World in Marzahn Recreational Park in Berlin is home to various gardens that show off the world’s different cultures. This particular installation is the Christian Garden but really, it’s the Garden of Typography. The walls are, well, literally made with type.
It’s not the world’s smallest font, otherwise you wouldn’t make out a single letter, let alone any words. But you should be able to read all 500 words (in a 320×240 rectangle) of computer science professor Ken Perlin’s font. [MAKE]
The Aakkoset bookshelf from Kayiwa might not be the most efficient way to store your things, but the alphabet shelf sure would get a typographer excited. Look at how useful a well constructed ‘W” can be!
