Twitter users will soon be able to see the pics they’ve tweeted and forgotten about in one place. Twitter’s new “user galleries” will aggregate said pics you’ve tweeted — via Instagram or otherwise — and put them front and centre.
Did you know Twitter lets you upload pictures now? Yeah. So in return TwitPic lets you, um, Twitter. That’s right TwitPic cloned Twitter. While it’s even dumber than it sounds, it’s also delightfully entertaining.
Tweeting “Getting arrested…in the back of a cop car now”, Twitpic founder Noah Everett followed it up with the pictured Twitpic, offering it as “proof” of his situation.
There are a number of things you could do in the midst of an aerial emergency. Calling loved ones, for instance. I think tweeting pictures might be up for consideration.
The astronauts on the ISS sent their first tweet from space just a short time ago. Now they’ve upped their game, using Twitpic to send us breathtaking shots of significant locations all around the world.
