Microsoft had a big launch for Windows 7 this morning, so naturally there was a swag bag. Wanna have a look inside?

On top of the press releases from the day, there was a Windows 7 cap, a Windows 7 T-shirt, a 2GB Windows 7 USB key, a Tips and Tricks guide and a sheet of Windows 7 stickers. Because nothing says you’ve got an awesome new OS to media like a sheet of stickers…

Attendees can get some pretty cool swag at big conventions, but I have yet to see a product as functionally hysterical as this sperm-shaped USB drive handed out at the American Society For Reproductive Medicine’s (ASRM) 2008 conference. I’ll tell you what—whipping this thing out at while using your laptop at Starbucks should prove interesting.

Addy Changes the World One Bag at a Time

Remember the video above, with our very own and beloved Addy Dugdale cursing and tearing apart Sharp’s IFA 2007 sharp-as-knives gigantic swag bags? Well, I’m happy to report that Addy changed the world that day, once and forever. I witnessed the consequences of her actions at IFA 2008:

This year, Sharp kept the same size, but made their bags inflatable. The result is that you had the same morons colliding with you everywhere, but at least it didn’t hurt your legs, arms, or body. And with that, I really mean crotch.

Plus, as a bonus, I was able to use them to lie down, take a siesta, and tan in the Berlin Messe gardens. Thank you Addy, you make the world go ’round. [More IFA 2008 Coverage]

What’s In The Apple Sydney Store Swag Bag?

Some of you were wondering what was in the Apple swagbags being carried around by journalists throughout the Sydney store’s media preview.

As you can see, we picked up a T-shirt (featuring the quote “Store’s Up” on the front and centre, plus the blue wave of iPod nano motif that was covering the store for weeks before today’s preview.

There was also a $25 iTunes voucher, a guide to the Sydney Store’s opening and a booklet on the one-to-one training offerings you can get in the store.
