Furniture Suitcases Are Living Rooms To Go

This is not a sofa. This is luggage. From Erik De Nijs—the designer who once bastardised these pants—I present you with your new airport/train station living room-to-go: The Suited Case. One by one, the suitcases are quite charming.

Combining a Laptop with a Suitcase Ruins Both Things

The “Poor Man’s Netbook” is a laptop (it’s got a 14.2-inch screen, so I don’t understand the netbook label) built into a suitcase. It deftly robs both objects of their purposes simultaneously.

Now as far as we can see they’re just plastic shapes, and an integrated part of each case. But considering the incredible kerfuffle that crazy application of regulations can cause nowadays at airports, to use these faux-weapon suitcases for real you’d have to be either brave, dumb, freakishly lucky or a wonderful melting-pot combo of all three. Samsonite OBAG Is Best-Looking Suitcase Ever, or Lightcycle Wheel Replacement

Too bad the Samsonite OBAG, a rolling bag designed by Rooz Mousavi, is not a real product. Not only is it easier to manoeuvre and move up and down the stairs, it also looks better than any other suitcase we have ever seen and it can work as a replacement wheel for a Tron lightcycle. As a bonus, it opens like an atomic bomb core that only Jack Bauer can deactivate.

Bacon Sets Off Airport Bomb Detector
