After installing, you can enable the screensaver by holding the Menu button on your Apple remote for two seconds, and the car will appear on screen as it enables the alarm. Then, if anyone tries to pick up your Macbook, or touch the keyboard, the alarm will go off.

Of course, considering how pretty much every Apple remote automatically controls every Apple computer, it wouldn’t be too hard to work around this, as a security feature. But it’s still a pretty cool form of marketing from Toyota…

Hit the link to download the screensaver for yourself.

Once you start them up, the Formula 1 car will go from one computer to the other, following a circuit that has the same topology as the distribution of computers in the office, going through curves, chicanes, and straight lines as needed. The good thing: you can download it yourself for your Mac or PC.

The best: it comes in two flavours, one to test your colleague’s ability to synchronise the computers by hand, and the other one that automatically synchronises all the desktops. Get it here now. [Download via Dvice]
