Since the earthquake and subsequent tsunami, Japanese companies have been focusing their efforts on creating products that can be useful in an emergency. And as batteries can be vital when a power grid’s been knocked out, Sanyo has been working to improve their shelf life.
A Czech website by the name of SuperApple has investigated Apple’s rechargeable AA batteries and found that actually, hidden underneath that Apple wrapping, they could actually be far-cheaper Sanyo Eneloops. It’s no surprise, really.
