Just in time to help you put off making your Halloween costume, Angry Birds Halloween has arrived in the App Store, boasting 45 new spooky levels. I look forward to the Angry Birds Easter, myself. $1.19.
After one million downloads in just the first day of release on Android, Rovio has just tweeted that Angry Birds has now racked up two million downloads. Get it for free in the Android Market or on GetJar, now. [Rovio via TechRadar]
Can’t get past some of the trickier levels in Angry Birds? Rovio has introduced a new character to the flock, with the Mighty Eagle having a brilliant feather in its cap – the ability to blitz through levels.
Rovio dropped a few hints earlier in the week that it’d have a public beta test of Android Angry Birds ready by Friday, and it’s followed through – it’s up on the Android Market right now. The level select shows 15 locked spaces for you to power through – and a link to buy the full version. But that doesn’t work yet. This is a test. [Rovio via Techradar]
You’ve seen Rovio hackery before, but not like this. Not with MIND CONTROL and Skype both involved. Emotiv Systems’ headset is used to control the Rovio, with the signal being carried to the robot over Skype.
The Rovio is the most promising webcam-wielding robot out there that, sadly, we don’t exploit because of conscience. But one modder has tweaked the otherwise pervy spybot to become a brave and loyal firefighter.
