In the days after the 9/11 attacks, the trio of Liz Taylor, Marlon Brando and Michael Jackson found themselves trapped in New York where they’d gone to see the latter’s concert at Madison Square Garden on September 10th. Unable to procure a private jet home, the three rented a car and drove to Ohio in what has to be one of the strangest road trips in history. It’s The Hangover meets a circa-1985 National Enquirer wet dream.
