Download Windows 7 Now, Before It’s Too Late

Tomorrow is the last day to download Windows 7 and get a licence key from Microsoft. So if you’ve been putting it off, it’s do-or-die time. Here’s quick access to everything you need.

Here’s where you get the download and product key—pick 32- or 64-bit (go 64), and you’ll need a Windows Live account. After punching in your user and pass, you’re presented with a product key and a download link. If you’re at work and can’t download right now, what you could do is go ahead and grab a product key (or two) so you’ll have ‘em, and then grab the install files later. Not sure if Microsoft will still be hosting the download afterward, but there are other places to get the Windows 7 install files, luckily.

That’s right kids, five hours. That’s not a lot of time. I hope you didn’t leave it until the last minute… But even if you did, you can still come up with some impressive way to share the Gizmodo love with the rest of the world. Just check out our original Gizmo-grow post, get your hands on the hi-res logo and get it out there. Just make sure to send your entries to competitions@gizmodo.com.au before 5pm today, otherwise you’ll have put in all that effort and won’t have the chance of winning the TV. We’ll be announcing the winner on Monday – Good luck!

Here Are Some Ideas To Help You Win A 42-Inch LCD With Gizmo-Grow…

Our Gizmo-Grow competition is well under way, but if you’re struggling to come up with some ideas to get the Giz name out there, here are a few that we came up with:

*Shave the Giz logo into your head for the next three weeks
*Rename a street sign in your capital city “Gizmodo Street”
*Project the Gizmodo logo onto a very large and/or iconic building
*Burn a Gizmodo logo into your front lawn
*Name your newborn child Gizmodo and tell the media
*Print the Giz logo on a large poster and take it to a football match…
*And many more

Of course, these are a few ideas off the top of my head. You’d be better off modifying them slightly if you wanted to actually win (one of the judging criteria is creativity, after all). And remember not to break any laws in your attempts.
