How Fleece Became Ubiquitous The World Over

There was a time in the late 1990s when fleece suddenly became ubiquitous in my life. I blame Old Navy. Their boldly-hued, fuzzy pullovers dominated every commercial break during the holidays and clothed everyone in my high school.

Dowse them with water. Bury them in earth. Blast them with air. None of it’s going to stop these matches from burning. And I’m assuming Heart wouldn’t put up much of a fight against them either.
