Have a good idea (or even a somewhat daft marketing one) and it’s sure to be emulated. Hot on the heels of Telstra and Vodafone, Optus will now let you sign up for ‘smartphone updates’ without actually revealing what it is you’re signing up for.
Vodafone’s started a rather wacky trend, it seems. On Monday it announced signups for a mystery phone, without revealing much in the way of details. Now it seems Telstra wants some of that sweet we’re-not-really-saying-anything action too.
