Nikon S1100pj Is Brighter, Cheaper, Can Project What’s On Your Computer

The original projector point-and-shoot, the Nikon S1000pj, was undoubtedly a novelty, but it was a novelty we found pretty charming. Its successor, the S1100pj, is 40 per cent brighter, can act as a projector for your computer and will retail for $US350 (AU: It’ll cost $499 down under – NB).

An impending update to the mini-projector sporting S1000pj we adored is on its way, according to leaked images by German mag Foto Digital. The S1100pj will add a touchscreen and remote control, as well as other yet-to-be-revealed improvements.

Rumour: Nikon’s Second Projector Camera Will Be Cheaper, Smaller

We were enamoured by Nikon’s first-gen projector camera, the S1000pj, but for the price ($US430) we expected better photographic quality. This second-gen model Nikon’s rumoured to be planning is expected before August, with a lower price with any luck.
