Technology has completely changed the way films are made. From the act of filming to the addition of HD special features on Blu-ray, advancements in technology have pushed filmmaking to new levels. We sat down with Predators director Robert Rodriguez recently to have a chat to find out exactly how much the entire process has changed thanks to technology. Every time humankind gets invaded by an alien race in Hollywood, they have some amazing technology and super powerful weaponry. But what goes into designing and creating that weaponry? We recently got the chance to sit down with the designers behind Robert Rodriguez’s Predators, and they told us just how important distilling the history of the Predator was in creating the alien tech for the film – which is out now on Blu-ray.
If you had the chance to design a new vibe for Predator, what would you do? These guys did. And they like the fact they’re able to show people why they did things the way they did them thanks to the extras on the Blu-ray.
