We knew RIM was launching the Pearl 3G exclusively on Telstra, but now the phone has been officially launched and we have some more concrete pricing information:
If you were eyeballing the BlackBerry Pearl 3G and thinking that you wanted to get a little piece of that action, Telstra yesterday announced that they’d be the exclusive carrier for the phone in Australia when it launches later this month.
The Pearl 3G might be the tiniest member of the BlackBerry family, but it’s definitely not a weakling. It feels sturdy, has features its older siblings don’t (Wireless N support!), and is a full-fledged smartphone with all the BlackBerry basics.
With its ultra-compact two-inch wide, 94g body, the Pearl 3G is the smallest BlackBerry yet. Despite its size though, it’s still a full-featured BlackBerry, complete with 802.11n wireless support – a first for BlackBerry devices.
