Don’t Worry Palm, Everything’s Gonna Be Alright

If two new fart apps in one day isn’t a sign of a maturing App Catalog, I don’t know what is. Rest easy for once, Rubinstein. For once. [Palm]

Why Aren’t More People Talking About the Palm Pixi?

We, as in the tech press, are all over Palm’s new mini-Pre. But we, as in the internet, just don’t seem to care about it — just ask Google.

Palm’s Pixi Up Close

The Palm Pixi‘s oddly hard-bodied for a phone that’s otherwise appropriately named. Even the matte rubber back feels stiff and unforgiving. But the keyboard reminds me of Rice Bubbles. In a good way.

Walmart Hacks Palm Pixi’s Price Down To Size: $US30 At Launch

It looks like retailers are going to have to do what Palm won’t: Make the Palm Pixi genuinely cheap, or at least cheaper than the Pre. For example! Walmart’s already slashed the Pixi’s price from $US100 to $US30 — pre-launch.

Palm Pixi Lands In The US November 15 For $US100

Sprint’s just gone public with its plans for the Pixi: One c-note, payable on November 15. It’s not the aggressive, bottom-scraping pricing I was hoping to see for Palm’s second, daintier webOS device, but $US100 isn’t exactly expensive, either. [BusinessInsider]

Palm Pixi Could Hit Sprint, Best Buy On October 20

Boy Genius has word from an anonymous source that the Palm Pixi should be hitting all Sprint and Best Buy locations (US only) on October 20. Few other details are offered up on Palm’s second WebOS phone, but if it’s going to come out before the end of the year, the date seems logical.
