You know how most carriers claim “unlimited” data on their monthly contracts, but actually have a 1GB-or-so maximum limit? The UK carrier 3 has just taken the industry in the right direction, abolishing data limits for the first truly unlimited package, The One Plan. That includes 2000 any-network minutes, 5000 3-to-3 minutes and 5000 texts – for £25 a month. (about $40).
When the merger between T-Mobile and Orange was confirmed as Everything Everywhere, it wasn’t too clear whether customers of each network would be able to access the other’s infrastructure.
