Go to the window right now. Look out onto the real world. Now imagine that it looks better. That’s how incredible the Samsung Super OLED is.
My eyes have never felt so good than when they saw Samsung Super OLED TV. IT WAS SOO CLEAR. I went to go see it up close and it’s beaaaautiful. Seriously, you’ll see its gorgeousness in the video, but it’s even better-looking in person. Criminally good lookin’.
Oh hey, it’s another big-ass OLED TV. LG Displays showed off a 55-inch OLED TV. Like Samsung, which also rolled showed a 55-inch today, LG is betting big on OLED.
LG has its own take on the future of HD beauty, and it certainly promises to be just that: 55 inches of 3D OLED glory slathered across a teensy-thin display.
There’s never a good time to buy a TV. If it’s not plasma, it’s LCD. And when it’s not LCD, it’s LCDs with 3D. If LG gets its way, the next display tech you’ll be groaning about is OLED, with the manufacturer planning to demo a 55-inch screen at CES next year.
It would make for the ultimate video watch, but Sony’s targeted its new 0.7″ ECX332A OLED micro-display at micro four-third cameras, providing a crisp, high-res view of what’s in frame through an electronic viewfinder.
Samsung has already demoed its flexible OLED displays as seen up top, but now they’re promising them in phone form, possibly in the “earlier part” of 2012. Does anyone want this?
