I love pinhole photography. The fact that people will take a gamble on a piece of film for months – or even years – strikes me as almost romantic, like a time capsule. This longest-ever exposure shows 34 months of New York life.
Some of it’s new, some of it’s not so new, but it’s all modern and paying to get it from the Museum of Modern Art means art and design won’t be crushed into oblivion forever, or something like that.
