We’ve heard some good news from Verizon folks: They’ll push Android 2.2 – also known as Froyo – to the original Motorola Droid next week.
An employee at Best Buy Mobile spotted these suspicious cases in a new delivery and whaddya know – they’re emblazoned with the product name of Motorola’s much-hyped Droid 2.

Because today, Optus has announced that it will be selling the original Droid – the one reviewed by the US team in November last year – as the Milestone in Australia, starting next week.
