The guys at D-Link told us this morning that the upcoming Boxee Box will be launching in Australia in November for $349.
The Boxee Box is really, finally on its way, and you’ll be able to pre-order it today for $US220. One quick switch-up before they’re out the door: The boxes will house Intel Atom processors instead of NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipsets.
On the day the new Apple TV was announced, Boxee decided to give itself a price: $US199. That’s a solid benjamin over the Apple TV but Boxee thinks giving users the freedom to watch whatever they want to watch is worth the extra cost. It might be. [Boxee via CrunchGear]

Windows/Mac/Linux/Apple TV: Open-source media centre application Boxee gained a lot of notoriety for seamlessly integrating web-based TV shows with a remote-friendly, ten-foot interface. Now they’re aiming to bring more web-based movies to their Movie Library.
Uh oh. Looks like it’ll be a while before you can get your hands on a D-Link Boxee Box. Apparently the device’s availability date has been changed to November:
The TiVo Premiere does so, so much right. It’s the TiVo you know, re-imagined for an information and media-hungry populace – one that’s evolved since the original Series 1 hit 11 years ago. But some accountant dickhead castrated it.
Windows 7 Media Center and Boxee each has its own strengths, and now the Boxee Integration App gives you access to both with minimal hassle.
Boxee just confirmed that their upcoming Boxee Box made in conjunction with D-Link will have NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset. They also mentioned that the Boxee Beta is free for the world to download. Rejoice!
