Apparently, the MacBook Air is so thin you can use it as a knife to prepare a meal. I wouldn’t try this with my MacBook, but Sakaiehita certainly did.
In September, Australians will see the first Ultrabooks arrive: MacBook Air-thin, Intel machines that may be around $1000 (though laptop makers are reportedly struggling with that). We’ve seen potential leaked shots of Acer’s upcoming effort, and now there’s Asus’ 12- and 13-inch Ultrabooks – complete with fancy aluminium unibody.
Intel and its Ultrabooks manufacturers have been finding it tough sticking to that sub-$US1000 promise, but what’s this? Intel’s mandated the minimum components cost will be between $US493 and $US710 for the 0.7-inch thick, 11-inch to 13-inch wide laptops?
