Amazon is trying to sell you magazines on the iPad. The latest update to the Kindle app for iPad now has a newsstand for reading Kindle Fire magazines, a built-in PDF reader, and slickly designed text book replicas.
This summer, Android users will finally have their very own Kindle app. The app will allow you to access the Kindle Store, synchronise bookmarks across all your devices, and do just about everything Kindle apps on other platforms can.
