The 2.5 update for Kindles, first let from the starting post late-May, has now been released onto the track for all keen book-jockeys out there. It includes Facebook and Twitter support for sending out a few lines of the book you’re reading, password protection, PDF pan and zoom, and a few new-and-improved organisation tools. [Amazon]
Amazon had set a target of late May for their Facebook-friendly Kindle 2.5 update, and it looks as though they’re on schedule. Reports from users have started trickling in – at least for Kindle DX – meaning that the broad OTA release has begun.
