They were promised at launch, and at long last, the mobile companion apps for JB Hi-Fi’s NOW music service are available for iOS and Android.
With Summer upon us, underwater cameras are – as the saying goes – the bee’s knees. 108 bucks delivered for a Toshiba underwater 1080p camcorder is a bargain, and will offer hours of superb wet footage from your escapades on the beach or in the pool this Christmas break. It’s online only though, so you better get in quick to make sure you don’t miss out.[JB Hi-Fi]
JB HiFi dropped a few teasers about it last week, but today the retailer’s music streaming service has officially gone live, albeit in beta format.
It’s the golden rule of the internet – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There’s currently a JB Hi-Fi scam doing the rounds on Facebook promising a free $200 gift card to the first 25,000 attendants of a special JB Hi-Fi event. The only thing you’re going to win by joining the event is compromised privacy and online security.
It’s not surprising given we’re less than three weeks from Christmas, but JB Hi-Fi is having a mega sale tonight only. Stores are closing at 5:30pm and reopening at 6:00pm just to accommodate the massive savings. There’s a huge list of savings on offer below the jump, but worth mentioning up front is the 4GB Xbox 360 Console for a paltry $169!
You know what everybody loves for Christmas? Movies. TV shows. DVDs and Blu-rays. So it might be a good idea to head over to JB Hi-Fi to take advantage of the 20 per cent off Blu-ray and DVD sale happening until next Wednesday. [JB Hi-Fi]
If you’re a child of the 80s, the style of the JVC Boomblaster will probably appeal to you. JB Hi-Fi’s selling the Boomblaster off online for a very appealing $179 plus delivery; although for some reason the main product page insists it costs $412, which is actually above RRP. Truly weird. It still appears to go through as a sale properly, however. [JB Hi-Fi]
The bricks and mortar retailer has quietly launched an online-only direct sales model, selling DSLR cameras and accessories at first.
JB HiFi’s current computer promotion is offering 15% off all Asus laptops and tablets; they’re offering everything from cheap netbooks to high-end Lamborghini laptops. As always, it pays to shop around — and a little price-matching haggling might score you a bargain if you find a salesperson in the right mood. [JB HiFi]
Ruslan Kogan’s never been a man to shy away from attacking his retail rivals. His latest gambit? Find an equivalent telly on sale cheaper at JB HiFi or Harvey Norman, and he’ll send you one of his — for free.
