While there’s been no shortage of DIY Iron Man projects, some have definitely been more inspired/obsessive than others. This hand-mounted blaster, though, gets to the very essence of Iron Man’s appeal: the intersection between useful augmentation and looking really badass.

More than his vast fortune or jet-soled boots or even Pepper Potts, the thing I envy Tony Stark for most are his computers. Here’s a video of how motion design company Prologue brought his fantastic holographic interfaces to life.
Forget t-shirts. Remember the Iron Man 2 suitcase scene? (It was the best, worst, most ludicrous part of the film.) Now that suit actually exists, minus every technology of note, for motorcycle riding! Price TBA. [Universal Designs via ChipChik]
Unless you go to the gym regularly and can defend yourself against wannabe supervillains wanting to kick your arse for wearing an Iron Man shirt. [Likecool]

That’s it. Forget Tony Stark until he learns to look badass while getting the wrinkles out of my skirts like this guy.

After the teetering jumble that was Iron Man 2, this fan-made “Iron Baby” trailer has tottered its way into my heart. I’d rather watch two hours of Iron Baby than another attempt to recapture the first movie’s moxie. (Sorry, Mark!)
