The graphics are lovely, the controls are pretty decent, and the game’s rather fun. But the Iron Man 2 iPhone app still seems a bit overpriced at nine bucks. Either way, it’s available now and looks like this:

Remember the briefcase-transforming Iron Man suit from the last two seconds of the recent trailer? Here’s a full minute of that scene. Spoiler alert: It’s totally awesome.

For Transformers, augmented reality allowed us to wear Optimus Prime’s head. For Iron Man 2, the shamefully enjoyable promotion gets better: You can now wear the mask, see yourself in Stark’s HUD and record it. Go forth and daydream.
Chad Barraford has designed a “digital life assistant” who recognises him, cooks hot dogs and alerts his friends when he has a migraine. Unlike Tony Stark’s J.A.R.V.I.S. though, this one only cost $US691.98 to build.
As this clip from the upcoming Iron Man 2 movie shows, Tony Stark requires nearly two minutes to actually enter a building – or in this case the Stark Expo stage. His probable excuse for the wait is great though.
The iPad itself looks OK, but it has a drab, pansy background. So we picked the two movies that we’re the most shamelessly excited about and resized their images (to 768×1024) for you: Tron Legacy and Iron Man 2.
