Sony’s Camcorder That Takes DSLR Lenses On Sale Next Year

Looks like Panasonic aren’t the only guys with a camcorder that can support interchangeable lenses like a DSLR. Sony’s NXCAM, first shown off earlier this year, takes E-mount lenses (the same used on their NEX cameras) and has a super-35mm sensor.

Olympus E-PL1s Is World’s Lightest Interchangeable Lens Camera

Today Sony officially announced its NEX-3 and NEX-5 interchangeable lens compacts (which is exciting enough), but at the launch in Sydney they also mentioned that engineers in Japan are currently working on an interchangeable lens Handycam. They even had a concept model on display.
