Android: The desktop version of Trillian Astra is one of our favourite desktop IM clients, and now you can get the same polished, account-syncing, tabbed-messaging IM client on your Android phone.
A front-facing iPhone camera means video calling, but it’s also a sign of something bigger. Combined with other recent leaks, it means that Apple is bringing iChat to the iPhone. Everything about voice calling may be about to change.
Everyone eventually trades up from the AIM app to IM+ or BeeJive or Meebo, but the free AIM app for the iPad actually looks decent.
