They’d look something like this. The fun homewares brand teamed up with Japanese designer iida, along with Stefano Giovannoni, Marcel Wanders and Patricia Urquiola, to re-imagine the mobile phone in ways not seen before. They’re quirky, but pretty cute.
See-through things are cool. Anyone who ever pined for a transparent Game Boy (or was lucky enough to own one) knows that. Even if flippers are unfashionable, I still want to hotfoot it over to Japan to scoop this up.
The Japanese are great at coming up with things you had no idea you had a need for, like these AC adaptor Rangers. Keep the cords on your desk organised and untangled with these little… Firemen? Astronauts? Hazmat guys?
I really do hate all these cables, and I will keep on hating them until all my charging and syncing happens over the very air I breathe. Until then, I guess these ice cream sandwich cables will have to do.
