In other news to come out of the local HTC ChaCha and Salsa launch, it’s been suggested that the Salsa will be replacing the Legend. The latter is currently listed as out of stock on Vodafone’s website. The two phones share an aluminium body and 320×480 screen, but the Salsa improves on the Legend with Gingerbread, an 800MHz processor and 512MB of internal memory.
Three customers who want to upgrade their phone to the solid performing (and recently Froyo-enabled) HTC Legend take note – the carrier is offering the handset for $288 plus $10 delivery fee to current customers. Bargain!

HTC is keeping the Android flood washing over Australia by announcing the HTC Legend for Voda and Three last night. It’s the return of the chin!
HTC swept the show with the sexy Legend, well-specced Desire and rugged WinMo HD Mini, and while US/Oz availability hasn’t been confirmed yet we can let our UK readers in on the good news. All phones will hit eXpansys on the 12th of April, with the HD Mini at £349.99, the Legend at £399.99 and Desire at £449.99.
Not only is HTC’s Legend their best-looking Android phone to date, I’m going to throw my hat in the ring and say it’s the best-looking Android phone period. Created from a single piece of aluminium, it’s more than MacBook-esque.
