Cactus Back Scratcher Reaches That Place You Just Can’t Make Bleed
11:30PM Mark Wilson | For those in the audience who have really, and we mean really, scratchy backs, the cactus back scratcher should do the trick. That green tip is no gimmick; that’s 100% real Arizona cactus bud if we’ve ever seen it (and we have, friends). So if you purchase this $US10 therapeutic device, scratch your back and still feel itchy, it’s probably time to seek medical attention. There’s no hope for you and those wounds need to be tended to. Slim Trim Razor For Shaving That Is Mathematically Correct
5:40AM Sean Fallon | After the Goatee Saver, I thought that I had seen it all. But no…there is more where that came from. Check out this Slim Trim razor from designer James McAdam. The caliper mechanism promises a mathematically proportional shave every time. Sure, that makes sense with sideburns and Hitler mustaches, but you have to think bigger—more artistic. How about carving some intricate geometric designs into your stubble? Yeah…your face would be like a blank canvas every couple of days. Maybe even twice a day if you are one seriously hairy dude. High-Pressure Tooth Spray Cleans Teeth With Water, Not Bristles
8:00AM Jason Chen | Toothbrush-like contraptions that spray water into your teeth holes have been around for years, but Philips’ new patent has several innovations that makes sure you don’t blast your gums into submission. The spray head has probes that can detect how far away it is from your teeth, ensuring optimum distance. More »

Remington Clipper Advances the Hair Clipper
10:40AM Jason Chen | As a guy who’s no stranger to buzz cuts (I even tested the Flowbee once) I can say that this Remington ShortCut seems like quite a nice invention. It’s got one of five length settings, plus is self-curved for your round noggin. The shape of the thing makes it easier to hold, like a brush, than the standard clippers we’ve all been using. There’s even a “balding comb” attachment which supposedly gives the closest cut ever from an electric clipper. Get yours for US$29, or upgrade to the high-end chrome for US$39. Pube Grooming Kit Makes Your Muff Best In Show
4:30AM Addy Dugdale | Anyone into heart-shaped boxes need look no further than the Just Kittyng Kit. In it is all the gear you need to turn your girlfriend’s lady-garden into something more, shall we say, ornamental. It’s got a bunch of stencils so that when you choose to transform her bush into a heart, star or arrow, it won’t look like something that Salvador Dali did. The three shapes are dull-arse dull, though. Whoever is behind this US$36 thing needs to start thinking outside the box. [Makeup.com via ALBOTAS] More »

The Life Machines BarberBot Goes For the Jugular
8:20AM Sean Fallon | UK based design firm PostlerFerguson’s line of “Life Machines” was born “with the question of how an aging population’s needs can be met through technology.” They sought to design “domestic objects that reflect the needs of both machines and humans.” Apparently, they feel that a symbiotic relationship between aging man and machine is defined by an old man’s desire to euthanise himself and a robot’s desire to kill. Thankfully, these are just concepts. Additional photo after the break. Machine Ear Cleaning: More »
