Google listened, and now lets you make your gender private in Google+. It also uses gender-neutral language – “their” as opposed to “him” or “her” – to make things simpler. Well done!
To say my post “Why I Stalk a Sexy Black Woman on Twitter (And Why You Should Too)” provoked a response would be putting it lightly.
A new study on the “Happiness Index” polled 8,500 Australians aged 18-64, and it found that for men, they were happiest while on the internet. For women, on the other hand, they were made the most happy while spending quality time with the family. I can’t see how the discrepancy could cause any relationship problems.
The internet is now officially a place to pick up girls, since they outnumber guys on the internets in the US by over 6 million users. Of course, most of them look nothing like Scarlet Johansson, but we can’t all be picky. Apparently, only 66 percent of them have heard of YouTube, however. Of course, the more pertinent question is, “are any of you reading Giz?” –Matt Buchanan
