The rumours are flying thick and fast regarding Telstra’s next step in 4G after USB modems and the HTC Velocity 4G. The latest suggestion is that we’ll see an LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 sometime in March.
I had major deja vu writing this. That’s because as cool as the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is, it’s basically just the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but slightly smaller. Which actually makes it noticeably better.
At 8.6mm thin, the new Galaxy Tab 8.9 (and revised 10.1) tablets will out-slim the iPad 2 (8.8mm). Though that’s not the thinnest tablet we’ve heard of, I’m definitely excited to get my smudgy hands on them! Even more so after seeing this video of the 8.9 next to the iPad 2.
