Funny thing about HD camcorders using 10MP (or bigger) sensors. Most of those pixels are wasted when you’re shooting 1080p video. So Canon’s new HD CMOS Pro sensor is just two megapixels. With gianter pixels, more like a studio camera.
Have I mentioned just how excited I am by the whole mirrorless- mini DSLR camera market? Well, I am, and Panasonic’s announcement of local release details for their G2 and G10 micro four-thirds cameras has me drooling like a rabid dog.
The story goes that Panasonic leaked the upcoming G2 and G10 micro four thirds cameras onto their own website, which 4/3 rumours quickly screengrabbed. However, Panasonic has got in touch with them to say the specs are incorrect. Oh, what to think?
