Panasonic’s Lumix LX3 was deeply coveted by camera nerds, a groundbreaking point-and-shoot that gave up megapixels for incredible photos. The LX5 is its sequel – and it’s the first camera that might knock the S90 out of my pockets.
The Lumix FX700 is like the FX75 before it, with a 3-inch touch screen and 5x optical zoom, but this one bumps the HD video up to 1080p. Hooray! It should be available at the end of August for $US400.
