Batpod Makes Its Way to the British Formula One Grand Prix

Previously seen being straddled by Meredith Viera on The Today Show, the decked out motorcycle burned rubber at the slightly more dignified British Formula One Grand Prix this weekend. F1 Inspired Lawnmower: Yardwork Just Got a Lot Sexier

9:45AM Sean Fallon | Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could bust out of your garage sporting one of these F1 concept lawnmowers from Kadeg Boucher of France? You would surely be the new king of the cul-de-sac. The mower features a steering wheel with an LCD display, an F1-style front wing, full racing suspension, rear view mirrors and a spark plug with race helmet. It also comes in three styles —Schumacher/Ferrari red, white and John Player Lotus black-and-gold. Again, this mower is a concept, so don’t expect to find one at the local hardware store. Too bad, because I know a lot of hardcore suburbanites who would pay a lot of good money for one of these. More »

$5,700 Formula One Seiko Sportura Ultimate Kinetic Chrono

4:35AM Wilson Rothman | F1 racers are lucky sons o’ guns. They make more than baseball players, get first pick of the hottest Euro models, drive really really fast without fear of highway patrol , and get cool special edition crap. Seiko just unveiled this year’s Honda special edition Sportura Ultimate Kinetic Chrono, and announced that in addition to the drivers and crew, you can get your hands on one if you’ve got $US5,700 and, presumably, some good Seiko connections. Only 750 will be made, and every one will ship in the packaging you can see in the gallery, complete with an actual gear from a Honda F1 car.
