Asus has announced the launch of the Eee Pad slider locally, along with pricing and availability information. All of which is yours right after the jump.
We’ve already seen video of Asus’ Eee Pad Slider in action, and it feels like forever that we’ve been waiting for an official release date for the nifty pop-out tablet concept. Over at Aussie blog Ritchie’s Room, Ritchie’s managed to get a first look at the retail packaging, as well as a suggestion as to when you might be able to buy one.
If a 10.1-inch Android Honeycomb tablet with dual-core Tegra 2 processor and slide-out QWERTY keyboard sounds like your cup of tea, then sit back and enjoy this new video hands on. Sure, it’s in Romanian, but seeing is believing, and this video is much more detailed than snippets we’ve seen from CES and Computex so far.
The Eee Pad Slider was announced so long ago (alright, in January) that I’d almost forgotten about it. But Asus sure hasn’t, as they’re gearing up for launch soon, according to a sly Facebook update.
