Here's video of Murata's Little Seiko balancing robot up to its tricks on a unicycle. It's a smart little thing: as well as balancing on that single wheel with nifty gyro and counterbalance robotic action, it can do collision avoidance. What's even better than a Wall-E robot toy made by WowWee? A Wall-E robot toy made by the animatronic people at Disney. This Wall-E robot is supposed to roam around Disneyland/Disney World entertaining patrons, but got spotted on the streets of LA panhandling and glad-handing for cash. And yes, like the previous generations, these FriendsWithYou models are equally as cute, sugar-level-boostery and almost-irresistible. Almost. The $40 Chewbacca backpack is what would happen if your MyBuddy grew a pair, took some steroids and helped you conquer the galaxy instead of your backyard. This backpack is a smaller version of your favourite Wookie, stuffable with your favourite books and lightsabers. And seriously, we prefer him to the real thing.
Chewbacca seems like a nice (guy?) and all, but the real prospect of living in close quarters with a flee-covered, boisterous and surely odoriferous animal for extended periods of time is about as close to our personal hell as an iconic sci-fi movie has come. And seriously, he has hair everywhere. Deviantart Artist Kickass-peanut just made version 2 of the Xbox 360 plushie, this time with a wireless controller and a built-in hard drive! You like it? You can actually bid for it on eBay, with the starting price of 35£ ($70). From the looks of it it's quite large, so you'll be able to use it as a cushion when you play the real Xbox 360. Kikkerland has designed this cute USB hub called Hub Man, who has USB sockets for arms and legs, and an LED for a heart. Most of his limbs run at USB 1.0, with only one bionic limb running at the faster USB 2.0.
