Bullitt’s famous car chase sequence through the streets of San Francisco is fun to watch, but it would be even more fun to re-create now that Contour has announced a new Moto Mounts kit for capturing your extreme, but reasonably safe and responsible vehicular exploits.
While most normal people spent their Thursday morning eating breakfast and heading to work, Glenn Singleman and Heather Swan jumped out of a plane over Sydney Harbour wearing wingsuits and a couple of Contour action cameras.
Soon after we first tried the Contour GPS action camera, the company’s “new and improved” Contour+ update sought to address several of our niggling issues. “Bigger lens!” they said. “Better audio!” Would they deliver the goods? Or was it all just marketing wizardry? Watch our snow video comparison.
It looks like it’s time to send our designer Ben back into the wild, with Contour announcing the latest addition to its hands-free rugged camcorders, the Contour+.
Contour gave us some cameras to test. Hardcore cameras. We could have rented a trampoline and partaken in some sweet, botched somersault action, but no – in order to really put the Contour HD and Contour GPS rugged action cams to the test, we had to take things to the next level – by renting canoes and going on a mental ‘Deliverance’ style camping trip.
True story – we almost died.
