This dude, for some unholy reason, owns every Super Soaker ever. Every. One. I mean, are these things even valuable? I don’t see how they could be because I can’t imagine anyone else being insane enough to care about some 1988 special edition Super Soaker. How does he explain his “hobby” to dates, assuming he’s ever gone out on one? “Yes, I am a grown man and I collect water guns. I have enough to fill up an entire garage, and I’m seriously in debt because of it. But hey, it’s totally worth it, right? Perhaps you’d like to come over and… hey, where are you going? You didn’t finish your Quarter Pounder!” Click for a bigger version of the picture. [Electro^Plankton via Geekologie]
Sweet merciful crap. A seriously obsessive gentleman spent 30 years of his life collecting video game consoles and games, and now he’s selling his entire 1,768-piece collection on eBay in one shot, presumably at the command of either the courts or a lady. Just the system list is insane, not to mention the games. Check out these pictures then follow me to after the jump for a sampling of the goods offered.
This is James Savage’s spare room, which contains one hundred Apple computers. He has more than 150 in his house and all of them are working perfectly, from an Apple II+ and a Lisa to the latest MacBook Pro. James sent us this image for our best computer rig contest, so we asked him about his passion—some would say obsession, others medical condition. You can read the full interview and see the huge gallery of all his computers after the jump.
