For those of you who don’t like Uhura-like Bluetooth headsets that stick out of your ear, the new U&I Capella UIBS700 headset is a necklace-style alternative that does stereo sound. Its slightly old-school-styled case fits in a small LCD screen and also comes with a 1.2W per-channel speaker add-on. It’s got enough battery power for eight hours of talk and 200 hours standby. It’s Bluetooth 2.0 and supports auto-switching, so your phone can cut in over your music. We’ll know pricing and release data info after CeBIT. [Aving]
PQI’s new Intelligent Stick USB flash drives may be a boon for those clumsy people, like myself, who often spill coffee on their electronics or get them soaking wet in pockets that let the rain in. I can’t think of a time when I’ve got a gadget too dusty to use, but these tiny flash drives can even cope with that. Manufactured with a special COB process, they’re available in 2GB and 4GB in a number of colours, and are due to be unveiled at CeBIT this week. [7Gadgets]
Woomsim’s upcoming 3-inch roll paper printer won’t do anything for you, except probably give you your next speed limit ticket. But we like it because of its bright orange jacket and because it reminds us of Domokun, the Cyclops Version. Look at those teeth. That thing is hungry. For your money. [Red Ferrett and Aving]
