Along with the G12, Canon’s SX30 IS camera has a couple of updates that SX20 owners will frown at—but on the whole, it’s really just the super telephoto lens which will bring out the green facial hues.
Canon’s G12 is a lot like the fantastic G11 pro point-and-shoot. Same sensor, practically the same body, but now with 720p HD video and an HDR mode. No fantastical advances—on the upside, G11 owners, don’t you feel better?
Thanks to a press release screw-up, daylight has been shed on Canon’s G12 – the first anyone has heard it. The G12 will sport the same 10MP sensor as the S95, manual exposure controls and 720p video recording. [Canon Rumors via CrunchGear]
