Only a year ago did Toshiba say that making a camcorder waterproof jacks the price up by close to 200 per cent. Good on them then for launching their first waterproof and weather-resistant model for the equivalent of $US185.
It’s taken several months, but finally the US has caught up with the rest of the world and can now pick up Toshiba’s Camileo S20, H30 and X100 pocket camcorders with prices starting at $US180.
