iLounge claims that a “highly reliable source” has told them quite a few details about some new gadgets coming from Apple, including a new iPhone that will finally fix the antenna problem, which allegedly will be released in early 2011.
While Apple’s Bumper is a decent way to prevent iPhone 4 reception problems, it unfortunately – and somewhat obviously – doesn’t keep the device all that safe if it takes a fall.
No-one’s biting, but the audacity. The audacity! It’s even worse that Apple trying to get away with flogging a piece of plastic for $US30. [eBay via 9to5Mac]
If you’d asked me before today what a bumper is, I would’ve said a part of a car – but according to Apple, a bumper is now an iPhone 4 case which comes in six colours. We’re talking white, pink, orange, green, blue and black. It’s got holes on the left-hand side for the three buttons, and will come in at $US29 when it goes on sale in June. [MacRumors]
