Inspired by the Nexus One (which HTC made), the Desire – or Bravo, if you prefer – has a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen with multitouch, with 480 x 800 pixels. It’s the best display I’ve seen on a phone for a while.
We’ve seen leaks of the HTC Legend and Desire (formerly known as Bravo) previously, but what look like the official pics and specs for those and the Touch HD Mini have appeared a day ahead of HTC’s MWC press conference.
After eyeing up renders, this caught-in-the-wild snapshot of the HTC Bravo comes accompanied with information on its Android partner the Legend, which hasn’t been salivated over quite as much as it should, considering it’s supposedly packing a unibody aluminium casing.
HTC will be launching the same phone under two names—Bravo in the US, and Passion in Europe, according to new leaks. Only trouble is, it doesn’t look much like the Passion we know and love, does it?
Nestled in the leaked Android 2.1 ROM, 20 new devices are mentioned by name—including those we knew of already (Dragon, Dream, Hero and Passion) but some new friends too, Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Espresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Sapphire and Supersonic. Phew. [AndroidSpin via BGR]
