Sony’s upgrading its chunky little Bloggie personal camcorder into a full-blown touchscreen device, with the Bloggie Touch – a sleek little option for recording full-HD video and capturing 12.8MP still shots.
Sure, it has a ridiculous name, but on paper the Bloggie’s got it all – 1080p video capture, the ability to switch resolutions and frame rate, plus a lens attachment that lets you record 360-degree videos. Bells and whistles galore.
It’s not quite the complete collection of Sony’s CES 2010 announcements – apparently Sony will be having another home entertainment event in the near future to discuss TVs and the like – but this morning Sony dished the local details on their new cameras, camcorders, Vaios, Walkman and… digital voice recorders! Gentlemen, start your excitement engines.
We may not have seen an Aussie release of Sonys Webbie camcorder, but Sony are actually bringing the new Bloggie camera down under next month.
Last year, Sony threw us the Webbie mini camcorder. This year, it’s the Bloggie. Will next year’s pico-camcorder be called the Tweetie? The RSSfeedie? The Faxmachinie?
