The Aussie launch of the BBC iPlayer iPad app made many Gizmodo staffers exceptionally happy people earlier this year. Now they can relive their excitement with the imminent launch of the iPlayer iPhone app tomorrow.
The Beeb’s letting loose an international iPlayer app today for 11 Western European countries, and later this year, they’ll dip their toe in the water for a year in Australia, the US, and Canada. Anyone for streaming Doctor Who?
For those who can’t get enough of British TV, like Top Gear and Eastenders, you’ll be happy to know that BBC will soon content on it’s iPlayer app for iPad available to international audiences for under $US10/month. [Guardian via Engadget]
