55 years ago today, the United States tested a hydrogen bomb over Namu island, in the Bikini Atoll, Pacific Ocean. The 15 megaton bomb exploded at 4572m, causing a 6km fireball 500 times brighter than the sun.
It’s the age-old conundrum. To go as something sexy or something full-on nerdy and embarrassing. I go as the latter every time (this is the woman who dressed as Bill Gates once), but I think this swimsuit solves the problem nicely.
