An above average performer’s better than around 50 per cent of the performance, or so we’ve all been led to believe by many decades of bell curves. Not so, according to research that suggests that most of us aren’t in fact on the average bell — we’re below where the mathematical average should be.

The Average Woman In Every Country Looks Like This

The Faces of Tomorrow projects takes lots of photos of people in various countries and merges them into one “average” face. It’s interesting, because if you gave me the photo for the average face for say, China, Korea, Japan and some other Asian countries and asked me to guess where they were from, I could probably get it right. They really do look like the stereotypical person from that country. [BI]
